Daz 3D Content
I have a habit of buying figures from Daz based on price so I have many that were on sale for $1.99 to $5.99 but I will say my favorites (no matter the price) are by Mousso. My questions is, has anyone else been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the figures they've purchased? I'm not talking about Mousso and I will not name the artist(s) but I have noticed that some 3D content looks even better than their promo pics. I may see a figure that's on sale and think, "I really wouldn't pay X amount of $$ for this but it's on sale so..." and then when I load it with my settings in DazStudio and do a test render, I'm blown away at how great it looks. Has anyone else even noticed this?
Too Many Hobbies...
I realize I have too many hobbies that keep me busy but I'm really glad I picked up on my 3D artwork again! We were without internet for several years when we moved and then I sold my desktop computer thinking I would be fine without deviantart and saving my wallet from daz3d purchases. It worked for a while but now I'm back to spending $$ faster than I can render lol.
I'm just curious...
Why are some people on :devart: getting pissy :upset: about receiving thanks on their pages? I'm not trying to be rude but if you don't want comments cluttering up your front page, then why not remove the comments section all together? :hmm:  I mean, they did give us that option. Artists spend a lot of time creating and when they actually take the time, THIER TIME, to thank you for showing them that you like their art, you shouldn't bite their heads off...but that's just my opinion. I try not to fill up someone's page with "thank you" comments, especially if I have done so recently. ;p
Blender and DazStudio
Does anyone use both Blender and Daz? I played around with Hexagon years ago but now I've decided to learn Blender (love the famous donut tutorial). I have looked at other software. 3ds Max and Maya are expensive and I don't really see many people still using Cinema 4D (maybe I'm not looking in the right places) and I'm not sure that I really need zbrush. Any feedback on these would be appreciated!

I like the edit better for the back bushes and shrubs (the "fall" one), but it did something in the color shift that really made some harsh edges on the leaves in the water in the foreground, so if that could be corrected or avoided, *I* think it would be perfect!
